ROBBIE WILLIAMS RETURNS TO NEW ZEALAND

with DURAN DURAN!

New Zealand’s much-loved, tattooed, bad-boy Robbie Williams is returning along with music-meets-art meisters Duran Duran.

Australia’s Michael Chugg, in association with Jack Utsick, today announced the return of Robbie Williams to New Zealand and this time they’ve upped the ante.

Robbie has just played a massive sold-out stadium tour across Europe to over 1.3 million fans and will bring this colossal stage show to:

Auckland’s Western Springs on December 6,

But wait … there’s more!

Recently reformed and sixty million albums later, 80s seminal "New Romantics" Duran Duran with their original line-up and high from a selling-out-in-seconds tour-de-force of the USA, will play in New Zealand with Robbie Williams.

The original five members are Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Roger Taylor and Andy Taylor.

Duran Duran’s Nick Rhodes told Associated Press [2003], "Against tremendous odds. We’re doing it all and we’re doing it with our own hair". And this show, with New Zealand Nesian Mystik making up the three-pronged-thruster, isn’t against the odds. It’s odds-on-favourite, to be the concert line-up of the year.

Tickets for the "one night only" show hit the internet first from 9am Friday September 12 on www.liveinconcert.co.nz and then go over the counter from 9am Monday September 22 through Red Tickets at NZ Postshops nationwide.

If you don’t reside close to Auckland which is hosting Mr Williams’ considerable gig – don’t fear; travel packages including tickets to the show, accommodation and flights are available.Check;

And if your looking for an upmarket corporate show package check;

In the US some Duran Duran shows sold out in under a minute and others took a little longer – around an hour!

So here in NZ, with a concert billing that could have just as easily been divided into two tours, the demand for tickets is expected to be huge.

When ROBBIE WILLIAMS toured Australia/NZ last time, Melbourne’s Herald Sun [5 Nov 2001] said, "Forget Popstars. Anyone with even the foggiest dream of getting on a stage one day should beg, borrow or steal themselves a ticket to see Robbie Williams live and watch how it’s done properly."

If you missed him then, don’t make the same mistake twice.
